Message Bearer is an Urban Fantasy by M.S. Dobing.

Join the main protagonist Seb, a Latent with a secret message in his mind that only he can open. Seb is thrown into a world of mages and demons, where magic is a case of manipulating reality.

My Thoughts: Great and lovable characters, fantastic world building and well written, Dobing has excelled in combining multiple mythologies with a little bit of science, creating a unique and intriguing world for urban fantasy lovers everywhere. Message Bearer is an action packed, epic, fantasy adventure.

The Rest Of Us Just Live Here

The Rest of Us Just Live Here is a Contemporary, Paranormal Fantasy by Patrick Ness.

Follow the story and lives of the ones who are not the chosen ones, with Mikey and his friends. In their world only the indie kids are chosen to embark on incredible journeys and fight evil, unfortunately they seem to die a lot, and Mikey just wants to graduate and make it to prom.

My Thoughts: My first thoughts as I began to read this book was, ‘this is weird’  but despite thinking that, I couldn’t put the book down, every time I tried I  would pick it back up again, and it wasn’t long before I realised that this book is ‘oddly brilliant’.

Finding Margaret

Finding Margaret – A Case For Reincarnation is based on a true story. I’m not sure whether to class this as a Paranormal Fantasy, Fiction, or Non-fiction!

Join Emma, an unusual and strong woman who has ESP. Emma dreams about the future, has visions and a strong intuition. She knows when something bad is going to happen, she has prior warning. Emma is put on a whirlwind journey through time and space as she races against the clock, in the hopes to stop a disaster occurring in the first week of May 1990.

My thoughts: Margery Phelps has a natural and realistic writing style, she tells Emma’s story but doesn’t skip out on the general day-to-day happenings. This does slow down the pace of the story in some sections, but I think it works for this story and it helps to bring the characters to life. Phelps allows you to learn the characters thoughts and emotions, making you feel like you are right there with them.

Ring of Conscience is a Crime Thriller and Mystery by James Stoddah.

Join Amy Pearce and Detective Thomas Riley as they embark on a journey to find out who murdered the esteemed Professor, Jason Chadwick. Left with only an unusual symbol and a series of internet clues, it is a race against time to find Jason Chadwick’s hidden fortune, and his killer.

My Thoughts: Oh wow. James Stoddah has really leapt forward with the times, by writing one of the first, (I believe), interactive novels. The best thing about this novel, is not only the gripping, fast-paced, addictive storyline, but the mystery is also a reality. James Stoddah has created two websites, one from the story itself and the second, another, real life, treasure hunt for readers to participate in and enjoy.
