Caitlin Lynagh's Book Reviews

Caitlin Lynagh was born in Cardiff and has lived (or has relatives) in pretty much every corner of the UK. She graduated from Keele University with an honours degree in Biology and Geology in 2013. Torn between her love for writing and science, a friend suggested that she send her novel ideas to a literary agent, so she did, and Anomaly was born. Caitlin now lives in Cumbria and works part-time for a large second-hand bookshop. When she's not working on her latest novel and enjoying the views, she writes blogs for Outlet Publishing's 'Diary Of A Young Writer' where she gives writing advice and book reviews (http://blog.outletpublishinggroup.com/). You can find her on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more. Caitlin loves to read and write fantasy/paranormal/sci-fi/YA novels. Anomaly was Caitlin’s first novel and was published in 2016. Hidden Variables followed in 2018 and Another Path has just been published in 2019. https://caitlinlynagh.com/

What are, The Good? The Bad? The Darn Right Ugly? and The Unicorns?

You may have noticed that some of my book reviews contain the above four titles. Rather than letting you trawl through pages and pages of reviews, I quote little snippets from other peoples reviews, found on goodreads and amazon, and then I place them under one of the four titles above. The Good, are the good reviews. The Bad are the bad reviews, The Darn Right Ugly (DRU) are the really really bad reviews, and The Unicorns are the fantastically good reviews. This is purely to make it easier for you, so that you can get a well-rounded and honest idea of what a book is going to be like. Hope this answers your questions, and happy reading!
Please note, I read a lot of books and I only have so much time. Therefore, I only write reviews on books if I really, really, REALLY enjoy them. If you are looking for a particular book and have not found it, it doesn't mean I didn't like the book! It just means I either haven't read it yet, or it didn't make it into my personal favourites.
